Join Boise State Music for an evening of Baroque cello music in the form of cello trios and sonatas. Guest artists, Baroque cellist Elinor Frey and harpsichordist Nicola Canzano, will join Boise State cello professor Brian Hodges and cellist Kevin McTeague in music from Italian masters of the Baroque style rarely heard in the Treasure Valley. This concert is sponsored by the Idaho Commission on the Arts. Admission is free and open to the public.

Based on the heartwarming film of the same name, Meet Me In St. Louis takes audience members on a musical journey back to the early 1900s, on the brink of the 1904 World’s Fair. In the show’s center are the Smiths, a humble middle-class family made up of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, their four daughters Rose, Esther, Agnes, and Tootie, and their son Lon. With the addition of romantic suitors, comedic misunderstandings, and jovial pranks, this musical is filled with nonstop entertainment featuring memorable musical numbers such as “The Boy Next Door”, “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas”, and “The Trolley Song”.

**Synopsis:**
Four eccentric Broadway stars are in desperate need of a new stage. When they hear that trouble is brewing around a small-town prom, they know it’s time to put a spotlight on the issue—and themselves. The town’s parents want to keep the high school dance on the straight and narrow, but when one student just wants to bring her girlfriend to prom, the entire town has a date with destiny.
