The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee is probably most known for his contributions as an Eagles lead guitarist, co-writing and performing the memorable solo on the band’s “Hotel California” while contributing songs such as “Vision” in addition to earning writing credits on “Victim of Love” and “Those Shoes.”

Legendary rockers Styx and Kevin Cronin, the iconic voice and writer behind REO Speedwagon’s greatest hits, have one of the strongest brotherly bonds spanning 25 years, especially since they’ve crossed paths on the North American concert trail along with the occasional joint festival concert. Fittingly, next summer they’ll join forces for the sixth time for their “Brotherhood of Rock” tour, along with special guest Don Felder (a former lead guitarist for the Eagles), which will include a performance at Pine Knob Music Theatre on Saturday, August 16 at 6:45 p.m. Pine Knob Music Theatre is presented by Proud Partners United Wholesale Mortgage, Trinity Health and Ally.

Felder, a true American rock and roll guitar hero, is very much looking forward to building upon his rich legacy as one of the most innovative riff-generating songwriters of the modern rock era while continuing his growth as a featured touring and recording solo artist. Don’s discerning musical taste ultimately bore much great fruit in iconic, prime rock-era Eagles songs. Bear witness to how his matchless lead-guitar tone added extra fuel to “Already Gone,” “One of These Nights,” “Take It to the Limit,” and “New Kid in Town,” in addition to his co-writing “Victim of Love,” “Those Shoes,” and his most popular co-creation, “Hotel California,” which he recast in an entirely new way for the Eagles’ Hell Freezes Over in 1994.

Simone Porter and Blake Pouliot have been best friends since they met as students at the Colburn School in Los Angeles 10 years ago – and they happen to be two of the most prodigious young violinists in the world today. Their eclectic program assembles a kaleidoscope of scenes inspired by Southern California, ranging from The Eagles to Stravinsky, and will be performed with their other longtime friend, pianist Hsin-I Huang.
