It’s hard to believe that it's been 7 years since Devon Allman put together a show at the Fillmore in San Francisco to celebrate the life of his father Gregg Allman. What started as one night of the Devon Allman Project featuring Duane Betts along with a bunch of guest artists has turned into a one-night festival visiting 18-20 cities a year.

Rust belt blues guitarist and singer Larry McCray was born in 1960 in Magnolia, Arkansas, one of 10 children. Early on, his sister, Clara, introduced him to the guitar and the transformative music of the Kings of the Blues: Albert King and B.B. King, as well as the powerhouse sound of Albert Collins. These great masters of the blues would have a tremendous influence on the musician McCray would become.

Devon Allman has been immersed in the world of blues and rock his entire life. As the son of the legendary Gregg Allman, Devon grew up surrounded by the rich musical legacy of the Allman Brothers Band, a group that played a pivotal role in shaping the Southern rock and blues sound.

Devon Allman’s Blues Summit is a powerhouse gathering of blues legends that promises to electrify the stage. Led by Devon Allman and backed by The Devon Allman Project Band, this summit brings together an all-star lineup including Jimmy Hall, Larry McCray, and Laka Soul.
