This timeless classic, which originally opened on Broadway in March 1943 and ran for an unprecedented 2,212 performances, tells the story of farm girl Laurey Williams and her courtship by two rival suitors, cowboy Curly McLain and farmhand Jud Fry, set against the backdrop of 1906 Indian Territory on the cusp of statehood.
