Flutist

The Lima Symphony’s season finale features one of our own as principal flutist Erin Torres and duo partner saxophonist Michael Torres bring a world premiere by award-winning composer Evan Williams to our stage. Bookending our duo are two of Classical Music’s most endearing works, Fauré’s delicately wistful “Pavane” and Dvořák’s tragic Symphony no. 7.

Featuring soloists from the Lima Symphony, the bright and delicate tones of strings and winds sparkle through works by Debussy, Mozart, Pärt, and Tchaikovsky. Performed in Northwest Ohio’s most beautiful historic churches, our annual Candlelight Concerts offer listeners a musical experience steeped in tradition and veneration.

The 2024-2025 Masterworks theme, In Nature's Realm, celebrates the natural world in lush musical landscapes and vibrant visual art. The chamber orchestra is teaming up with Worthington Partnership's "Green Team," to promote sustainability and help Worthington become a more earth-conscious community. Through the Worthington Pollinator Pathway project, WCO and the Green Team encourage native plantings throughout the city to better support our ecosystem. WCO performances throughout the season will feature paintings by members of the Ohio Plein Air Society. Join WCO and the Green Team for a season of celebrating nature!
