Over our lives, we have witnessed orchestral performances that have stirred deep emotions within us, evoking tears, laughter, and an irrepressible desire to leap out of our seats. However, our conventional understanding of an orchestra adheres to a rather stringent script. We sit in hushed silence, adorned in formal attire, observing a predominantly homogeneous ensemble dressed in black, performing music composed solely by European men.
