Immerse yourself in an evening of exquisite chamber music at Alice Tully Hall, as the Chamber Music Society of Lincoln Center presents "Virtuoso Winds." This concert showcases an outstanding collection of internationally renowned wind players, including the celebrated pianist Anne-Marie McDermott. Together, they will perform ensemble classics spanning from the 18th through the 20th centuries, culminating in Poulenc’s effervescent Sextet. Described by Poulenc as an homage to the wind instruments he adored from the onset of his composing career, this Sextet promises to be a highlight of the evening.
