This summer we will bring Puccini's moving masterpiece about the geisha Cio-Cio San who falls fatally in love with the American naval officer Pinkerton and abandons everything in her old life to become an American wife. To immortally beautiful music and an open scenography that breathes Japan, we will give you a sensitive interpretation of this tragedy, perhaps the greatest in opera literature. With intimate acting, singing at the highest level and in clothes that clearly indicate time and place, we will tell about true love and betrayal, unbroken fidelity and irresponsible play.
