Award-winning New York-based theatre creators David Gosz & Leo Fotos present their original work San – a Mardi Gras Musical! Broadway meets the “Big Easy” in San – a new musical based on the life story of Mardi Gras designer San Nicholas. Experience this concert extravaganza of music by Gosz & Fotos then second line with the band to The Presbytère to attend the grand opening of The Louisiana State Museum’s brand new exhibit titled “To Be A Star: The Carnival Costume Designs of San Nicholas” celebrating the centennial of San’s birth. Original sketches and costumes will be on display at The Presbytère in Jackson Square offering an inside look into the work and life of the man who revolutionized the celebration of Mardi Gras.
