Alan Morrison holds the McGehee Organist Residency at Spivey Hall, where he recorded his 2021 ASA Digital Recording release. Florence Price – Virtuoso and Poet. Alan is head of the Organ Department at the Curtis Institute of Music and College Organist at Ursinus College.

This event showcases the exceptional skills of young organists who have undergone rigorous training and mentorship from renowned faculty members, including Alan Morrison, Leon Schelhase, Jonathan Coopersmith, former faculty member Matthew Glandorf, and Wanamaker Grand Court Organist Peter Richard Conte.

Curtis Summer Organ Intensive Recital

The three choirs of the Spivey Hall Children’s Choir program sing with remarkable beauty of tone, expression, and spirit that is their hallmark. All three perform on Friday, with the spotlight on the Young Artists. On Saturday and Sunday, the Children’s Choir gives an expanded program, and the Tour Choir previews its summer tour repertoire.
