Jens Lindemann presents a high-spirited concert featuring a remarkable group of virtuoso musicians. Jens is acclaimed as one of the world's most celebrated trumpeters and has been honored with the prestigious title of "International Brass Personality of the Year" (Brass Herald). He has played both jazz and classical in every major concert venue in the world: from the Philharmonics of New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin, Moscow and Tokyo to Carnegie Hall and even the Great Wall of China. The ensemble includes Bryan Pezzone, the renowned pianist known for his exceptional versatility and artistry in blending musical genres, violin sensation Etienne Gara, the lead violinist of Delirium Musicum, who returns to BroadStage following his performance on the Mainstage in January, and rounding out the lineup is the esteemed cellist and curator of Sunday Morning Music/Santa Monica, Antonio Lysy, whose numerous accolades further enrich this extraordinary gathering of musicians.

The Broad Stage

In the signature style of a young artist shaking up the classical music scene, violinist and Soraya’s Artist in Residence Étienne Gara leads an ensemble renowned for its fearless interpretations that the San Francisco Classical Voice calls “ferocious and rhythmically mesmerizing.” This is a rare opportunity to experience the works of two contemporary composers — Philip Glass and Max Richter — written in response to Vivaldi’s beloved The Four Seasons. This concert is part of our intimate, on-stage seating chamber series designed to place you in the very heart of the performance.
