Siegfried Idyll, Wagner’s iconic and romantic symphonic poem for chamber orchestra, opens this program, which also features Jaewon Wee, a prizewinner of the Tchaikovsky and Menuhin International Violin Competitions, who will perform Mozart’s songful and reflective Fourth Violin Concerto. After intermission, enjoy the exuberant sounds of Beethoven’s boisterous Eighth Symphony; Richard McKay conducts.
