Join us for an exquisite evening of music with Maki Namekawa at the Salle Philharmonique in Liège on Sunday, February 9th, 2025, at 4:00 PM. Maki Namekawa, an indefatigable interpreter of contemporary creation, is celebrated for her close collaboration with minimalist composer Philip Glass. In 2014, she recorded the first complete set of Glass's Études, receiving unanimous acclaim. Glass's Piano Sonata No. 1, written for Namekawa in 2019, marks 20 years of their artistic partnership. The program will also feature Keith Jarrett's Ritual (1977) with its strange yet lyrical ostinati and Chick Corea's captivating Children’s Songs, inspired by Bartók's Mikrokosmos.

The concert duration is approximately 1 hour and 50 minutes, with ticket prices set at 34 / 18 / 11. This is a unique opportunity to experience the synergy between composer and performer, brought to life by Namekawa's exceptional talent.
