Coeur de Pirate

Berklee College of Music

A staple of French-language song, Cœur de pirate is capable of introspection and exhilaration as well as subversion; with her intimate, sharp-edged voice, she seduces as much as she surprises. An international pop icon who divides her life and career between Quebec and Europe, she has performed around the world since her meteoric debut in 2008 – and in 2025, she returns to the stage to present the album Cavale. Watching her move from tenderness to soaring crescendos, this new show, with its grandiose staging, showcases the woman at the piano as much as the star who dances. Her distinctive manner – both melancholic and vibrant – is present in the way she delivers emotion while inviting the crowd to celebrate. An evening with Cœur de pirate is the volatility of feeling presented with jeweler's care, somewhere between contemplation and exhilaration.
