A single melody offers countless opportunities for interpretation—and jazz is the perfect medium to explore them all. This jazz and fusion recital features both the Matt Savage Quartet and the Matt Savage Groove Experiment, two groups that have helped Savage explore different melodies and genres through improvisation and composition. He believes each concert represents a new beginning—offering a hopeful outlook in times of renewal.
