The Low Down Duo started as a fun experiment, mixing up traditional classical repertoire by composers such as Rossini and Haydn with Brazilian music, Argentine tangos, blues and even a bit of Sinatra! The combination has proven to be a hit with audiences. Never losing their grasp on their classical roots, The Low Down Duo weaves new styles into the mix, creating entertaining and compelling performances.

This thrilling program begins with a showcase of our string players in the Dohnanyi String Trio, followed by the powerful and haunting second piano trio of Shostakovich. The magnificent Dvorak Piano Quartet in E flat brings this concert to a rousing finish.
