Edgard Varèse’s Offrandes for soprano, ensemble, and six percussionists, performed by Daniele Carreon Herrera, is a groundbreaking work that marked a turning point in 20th century music. The evening culminates with Clara Iannotta’s a stir among the stars, a making way, a work of otherworldly beauty that continues to captivate audiences at the world’s most prestigious contemporary music festivals.
