Experience the timeless romance and heartache of Puccini's "La Bohème" at the Opéra de Montréal. This beloved opera, often hailed as the greatest love story ever sung, will be brought to life under the direction of François Racine and the baton of young Montreal conductor Simon Rivard, making his debut with the Orchestre Métropolitain. 

Set against the backdrop of Paris' Quartier Latin, "La Bohème" tells the poignant story of four young artists, living a carefree life until love and reality collide. The night Mimi knocks on poet Rodolfo's door marks the beginning of a tumultuous journey of love and loss for the group. 

Featuring a talented cast including Lauren Margison as Mimi, Frédéric Antoun as Rodolfo, John Brancy as Marcello, Andrea Núñez as Musetta, Mikelis Rogers as Shaunard, and Jean-Philippe Mc Clish as Colline, this production promises to capture the fragility of love and life through its powerful performances and stunning visuals. 

Join us at Salle Wilfrid-Pelletier, Place des Arts, for performances on May 10, 13, and 15 at 7:30 p.m., and a matinee on May 18 at 2 p.m. The opera will be sung in Italian with French and English subtitles, ensuring that the beauty of the libretto reaches every audience member.
