Philip Kleutgens, a Master of Music student under the tutelage of Taimur Sullivan, will be performing a captivating recital on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at 8:30pm CDT. The event will take place in the intimate setting of the McClintock Choral and Recital Room, located within the Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Center for the Musical Arts.

Philip will be joined by a talented ensemble of musicians, including Isaac Boone on soprano saxophone, Yun Qu Tan on alto saxophone, Brian Kachur on tenor saxophone, Natalia Warthen on baritone saxophone, and Nathan Canfield on piano. The program promises a diverse range of pieces, featuring works by Sam Alvarez, John Anthony Lennon, and Paul Creston, as well as transcriptions by Philip Kleutgens himself, including selections from Nino Rota's Concerto for Strings and Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky's Souvenir d’un lieu cher.
