The evening's program promises to be a mesmerizing experience, opening with the Auber Overture to the Opera La Muette de Portici, followed by Schubert's Symphony No.4, "Tragic." The highlight of the night will be Brahms' Violin Concerto in D major, op. 77, masterfully interpreted by Ilana Zaks. Known for her fearless, refreshing, and commanding performances, Zaks has captivated audiences worldwide, performing with renowned orchestras and at prestigious venues.

Ilana Zaks, a violin virtuoso who began her journey with the violin at the tender age of three, has studied under the guidance of Donald Weilerstein at the New England Conservatory and Ani Kavafian at Yale. Her illustrious career is adorned with numerous accolades and her innovative approach to music has led her to collaborate across various disciplines, making her performances uniquely enriching.

The evening will also feature a pre-concert lecture by Classical KING FM’s Dave Beck, starting at 6:30 pm, offering insights into the night's repertoire and the fascinating world of classical music.
