Join us for an enchanting evening of classical music at the Grand Teton Music Festival in Jackson Hole, WY. The Festival Orchestra, under the baton of Maestro Sir Donald Runnicles, will present a captivating program featuring works by Beethoven and Brahms.

**Program:**
- **Detlev Glanert:** *Vexierbild* (World Premiere)
- **Beethoven:** *Violin Concerto* featuring GTMF favorite Augustin Hadelich
- **Brahms:** *Symphony No. 3*

Augustin Hadelich returns to Walk Festival Hall to perform Beethoven's Violin Concerto, a piece renowned for its complexity and beauty. The evening will also include the world premiere of Detlev Glanert's *Vexierbild* and Brahms' Symphony No. 3, known for its free but happy spirit.

After this premiered to critical acclaim, his Second Symphony took less than a year to complete, bursting out in all its colour and glory. From the lush, pastoral landscape of the opening movement to the grand, triumphant finale, every moment is packed with sweeping emotions and lyrical tunes. Glanert’s Idyllium is inspired by Brahms’ music and pays homage to the great Romantic composer.

Our celebration of Mozart begins at the very end. The circumstances surrounding Mozart’s unfinished Requiem are shrouded in mystery, but the music’s sorrow and beauty speak across the centuries. The Adagio and Fugue, another late work, is a dark and almost mystical vision. Acclaimed bass-baritone Dashon Burton returns to the SLSO in Detlev Glanert's arrangement of Brahms’ final song cycle, the Four Serious Songs.
