Hailed as “Australia’s most exciting young cellist” by Limelight magazine, Switzerland-based Australian musician James Morley works largely as a soloist and chamber musician. He is a specialist in contemporary music performance and demonstrates that here, anchored by  bastions of the Baroque era Colombi and Biber.

Experience the timeless beauty of Vivaldi's "The Four Seasons" brought to life by an ensemble of remarkable soloists. Join us on Sunday, January 7, 2024, at 5pm at the Good Shepherd-Faith Presbyterian Church, located at 152 West 66th St., for an unforgettable evening of classical music. This concert features the exceptional talents of Nicholas DiEugenio, Daniel Lee, Isabelle Seula Lee, and Beth Wenstrom, who will lead us through Vivaldi's beloved concerti with their solo performances.

In addition to the musical feast, the event will showcase contemporary photography that evokes the essence of the seasons, captured by four talented NYC-based photographers. This unique blend of visual and auditory art promises to be a captivating experience for all attendees.

Please note that in-person tickets for this concert are currently sold out, but interested patrons are encouraged to visit the box office in person on the day of the event to join a waitlist for any cancellations. For those unable to secure a ticket, a virtual concert experience will be available 2-4 weeks after the performance, ensuring everyone has the opportunity to enjoy this magnificent presentation.

The concert will last approximately 70-80 minutes and will be performed without an intermission, offering a seamless journey through the seasons. The program also includes works by Johann Sebastian Bach, Giuseppe Colombi, Georg Philipp Telemann, and Giovanni Zamboni, providing a rich tapestry of classical music that spans the baroque era.

For student attendees, free tickets are available upon request by emailing music@sebastians.org with proof of student status, subject to availability. We also offer community comp tickets for those who wish to attend but may find the cost prohibitive, ensuring that music is accessible to all.
