Join the Choral Arts Society of Washington for a captivating evening as Noseda conducts Rachmaninoff at 150, featuring "The Bells" at the prestigious John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts Concert Hall. This special event, part of a guest appearance with the National Symphony Orchestra, is set to take place over three nights: Thursday, September 28, 2023, at 7:00 pm, Friday, September 29, 2023, at 8:00 pm, and Saturday, September 30, 2023, at 8:00 pm.

Experience an all-Rachmaninoff program filled with drama, romance, and the unmistakable Russian fire. The evening will showcase the talents of Denis Kozhukhin, described by the Chicago Tribune as a "Russian firebrand," performing the exquisite Piano Concerto No. 4. The program will also feature "The Rock," inspired by Anton Chekhov’s story of a chance encounter on a stormy night, and culminate with the thrilling choral symphony "The Bells."

Under the baton of Gianandrea Noseda, with Scott Tucker serving as chorus master, the Choral Arts Symphonic Chorus will bring these pieces to life, promising an unforgettable performance.
