Join us at the Howard Assembly Room in Leeds for an unforgettable night with Orchestra Mambo International on Thursday, May 9, 2024. This spectacular event promises an evening filled with stellar musicians, fiery grooves, percussive delights, and legends of the Latin music scene.

When UK salsa/Latin music veteran Lubi Jovanovic, also known as DJ Lubi, joined forces with top salsa/Latin jazz musician Jonny Enright, they set out to pay homage to the Mambo King, Tito Puente. What began as a one-off tribute has evolved into a much-anticipated show, following sell-out performances at Brudenell Social Club and Manchester’s Band On The Wall. With a debut single released in April and an album dropping this summer, get ready to dance the night away with big jams and special performances, including the electrifying Sabroso Dance Company.

The event will take place in the heart of Leeds at the Howard Assembly Room, a venue renowned for its year-round festival of music, performance, and ideas. Doors open at 7pm, with the show starting at 7:45pm. Tickets are available for standing at £17 and seating at £19, including booking fees. Special pricing is available for Under 30s Members at just £10.

The lineup features an array of talented performers, including Carlos Pachanga Peña as the lead singer, Jonny Enright on trombone and as the musical director, Ivan Pavon on bass, Victor Estevez on trumpet, and many more talented musicians bringing the vibrant sounds of mambo to life.
