Celebrate the holiday season with Opera Birmingham's enchanting "Sounds of the Season 2023" concert. This much-anticipated event is set to take place on Sunday, December 10, 2023, at 2:30 P.M. in the prestigious Brock Recital Hall at Samford University. 

"Sounds of the Season 2023" promises to be a heartwarming concert that features a blend of sacred and secular favorites, making it the perfect family-friendly event to kick off the holidays. The concert will showcase the incredible talents of Alexis Davis-Hazell and Earl Hazell, alongside the Opera Birmingham Studio at Samford University and the Opera Birmingham Chamber Choir. 

Under the musical direction of John Robertson, and featuring performances by mezzo Alexis Davis-Hazell, bass Earl Hazell, soprano Lauren Tinsley, and the Opera Birmingham Chamber Chorus, the concert is set to deliver an unforgettable holiday experience. The performance will last approximately two hours, including one intermission, and will be interpreted in American Sign Language (ASL), with Braille and large print programs available upon request.
