- **Florence Price:** Andante Moderato for String Orchestra from String Quartet No. 1 in G Major (SFSO Premiere)

This concert shines a spotlight on two pioneering African American composers: Florence Price, the first Black female composer to have her work performed by a major U.S. orchestra, and Jessie Montgomery, one of today's most vibrant voices in classical music. The dynamic Awadagin Pratt will grace the stage, performing Montgomery's new piano concerto and Bach's Keyboard Concerto No. 4, both making their SFSO debut.

The evening is anchored by Brahms' emotionally rich Symphony No. 1, completing a program that bridges the past and present of classical music.
