Bruce Liu, who catapulted to classical music stardom following his victory at the Chopin International Piano Competition in 2021, will grace the stage with a diverse and captivating program. Audiences can look forward to an evening of exquisite music featuring Haydn's Piano Sonata in B Minor, Hob. XVI:32, Chopin's Piano Sonata No. 2, op. 35, Kapustin's Variations, op. 41, selections from Rameau's Pièces de clavecin, and Prokofiev's Piano Sonata No. 7, op. 83.

Liu's performance at London’s Royal Festival Hall in March 2022, where he was summoned at the last moment to join the Philharmonia Orchestra for an all-Tchaikovsky program, marked a "star-is-born" moment for the young pianist. Opting for the notoriously difficult Concerto No. 2 as a substitute for the more commonly played Concerto No. 1, Liu delivered an astounding performance that garnered glowing reviews and elevated him to an even higher level of demand in the classical music world.
