Finally time again for disco in Berwaldhallen! Take a dance step back to the sequin-studded and pulsating golden age of disco. When the Radio Symphony Orchestra, together with Andreas Lundstedt, Lina Hedlund, and LaGaylia Frazier under the direction of Hans Ek, take on some of the absolute best disco songs of the 1970s, it will be an evening filled with glitter, glamour, and dance.

A musical portrait of the groundbreaking singer-songwriter Scott Walker: an outsider and a pioneer who became famous as a teen pop idol and went on to reinvent himself on several occasions during his more than 60-year-long career. He has inspired countless other artists including David Bowie, Leonard Cohen, Brian Eno, Nick Cave and Radiohead, and this concert with Magnus Carlson and Hans Ek features both music by Scott Walker himself and some of the music inspired by him.

Together with star conductor Hans Ek, they will perform symphonic interpretations from the iconic rapper's almost 30-year career. The concert is part of the tour that starts in Stockholm in January 2026 (sold out!) – then with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra.
