Join us for an exceptional musical showcase featuring the talented Dustin Nguyen on trombone, as part of his Master of Music recital. This event is scheduled for Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 2:30pm CDT, held in the historic Lutkin Hall at Northwestern University. Dustin, a distinguished student of Michael Mulcahy, will be accompanied by Yoko Yamada-Selvaggio on piano.

The recital will include a diverse repertoire with selections from Alexander Scriabin arranged by Ralph Sauer, the Concerto for Alto Trombone by Leopold Mozart, the Trombone Concerto, Op. 114 by Derek Bourgeois, and a unique arrangement of Errol Garner's "Misty" by Dustin Nguyen himself, inspired by an Ella Fitzgerald performance edition.

This event is free and open to the public, offering a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich musical talents nurtured at the Bienen School of Music. No tickets are required for attendance.
