Among the artists you’ll hear are Kenny Barron, George Cables, Peter Bernstein, Rufus Reid, Larry Grenadier, Taylor Eigsti, and many others.

Well-known to all the SJW family, Steven Lugerner has developed a unique voice as an improviser and an unmistakable style as a bandleader — and as an entrepreneur, heading up the up-and-coming record label, Slow and Steady Records. His SLUGish Ensemble will be celebrating the release of a new album and performing new music from another upcoming fall release.
