Touching and letting oneself be touched emotionally is a guiding principle for Mats Larsson Gothe, whose Symphony No. 4 is premiered at this concert. The Venezuelan composer and pianist Gabriela Montero's way of touching is partly different. With her piano concert, she wants to both confirm our ideas about what Latin American music is and make us think: "All is not gold that glitters", referring to the difficult situation of her homeland.
