Janelle DeStefano and Mercedes Juan Musotto, Directors. SMC Opera Theatre and the SMC Symphony Orchestra present a fully staged production of Orpheus in the Underworld, Offenbach’s satire of the Orpheus myth, in which the character of Public Opinion prods the reluctant Orpheus to rescue his wife, Eurydice, who would rather party in the underworld! Featuring the famous “Can-can.” Performed in French with English supertitles.
