Seattle Children's Theatre proudly presents "Goodnight Moon," a delightful musical adaptation of the cherished children's book by Margaret Wise Brown and Clement Hurd. Directed by Linda Hartzell and featuring book, music, and lyrics by Chad Henry, this production brings the timeless story of Bunny's imaginative journey to dreamland to life. Since its world premiere in 2007, "Goodnight Moon" has captivated audiences across the country with its lively and intimate portrayal of jumping cows, dancing bears, and a room that magically springs to life. Now, SCT is excited to bring this signature piece home again, offering a new generation of children and families the opportunity to revel in the surprise and delight of this truly timeless theatre experience.

The show runs from October 12 to November 5, 2023, at the Eve Alvord Theatre, making it an ideal outing for families with children aged 3 and up. The performance lasts approximately 75 minutes, including one 10-minute intermission, ensuring a comfortable and engaging experience for young audiences.

In addition to the general performances, SCT is committed to accessibility and inclusivity, offering an ASL Interpreted Performance on October 28, an Audio Described Performance on November 4, and a Sensory Sensitive Performance on November 5. These special performances are part of SCT's mission to serve diverse communities and provide youth of all ages access to professional theatre.

The cast features talented actors such as Sasha Conley, Molli Corcoran, Sarah SG Garcia, and Antonio Mitchell, who bring the beloved characters of "Goodnight Moon" to life. The production team, led by Director Linda Hartzell, includes Marianne Roberts (Choreographer), Claire Marx (Music Director & Pianist), and a host of other creative professionals dedicated to creating a magical theatre experience.
