This free event will be held at the Mountain View United Methodist Church, located at 355 Ponca Place, Boulder, offering a unique opportunity to dive deep into the world of Gustav Mahler and beyond.

The symposium, part of the larger Colorado MahlerFest activities under the artistic direction of Kenneth Woods, promises an engaging lineup of speakers and topics. Highlights include Jeremy Barham discussing Mahler’s Fourth Symphony, Joseph Horowitz exploring the connections between Mahler and Schubert, and Nick Pfefferkorn & Kenneth Woods presenting a fresh look at Richard Strauss. Additionally, Aaron Cohen will offer a behind-the-scenes look at creating a Mahler podcast, with Matthew Mugman's talk details to be announced.

The church's spacious lobby and sanctuary, capable of accommodating around 250 guests, ensure a comfortable and inviting atmosphere for all attendees.
