Experience a unique fusion of traditional brass music and symphonic grandeur at the "Symphonischer Hoagascht" concert, where Blasmusik meets the esteemed Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks (BRSO). This special concert is scheduled for Sunday, 7th July 2024, at 5:00 pm, taking place in the vibrant city of Munich at the Showpalast Munich.

The evening promises an unforgettable musical journey, starting with Percy Aldridge Grainger's "Lincolnshire Posy," followed by Lorenz Dangel's "PHON," a piece commissioned by the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks and set to have its world premiere at this event. After an interval, the concert will continue with Hector Berlioz's "Grande symphonie funèbre et triomphale, op. 15," Timo Dellweg's "Kaiserin Sissi," and Martin Scharnagl's "Euphoria."

Under the baton of Sir Simon Rattle, the concert will feature performances by Luise Kinseher, Dominik Glöbl, and various brass ensembles including Ulrichsbläser Büchlberg, Jugendblasorchester Marktoberdorf e.V., Blaskapelle Möckenlohe, and Brass Band Unterallgäu, alongside the Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks.
