**About the Production:**
First created on August 6, 1839, at the Théâtre de la Renaissance, "Lucie de Lammermoor" is Donizetti's French adaptation of his own Italian opera, "Lucia di Lammermoor." This version, set against the backdrop of romantic Scotland, tells the story of Lucie, the sole female character, whose descent into madness is both enchanting and tragic. The production features the Orchestre symphonique de Québec and the Opéra de Québec chorus, with French surtitles to complement the performance.
