Join us for an unforgettable afternoon of music and cultural celebration with the Sphinx Virtuosi at Caramoor on July 7, 2024, in Katonah, NY. This dynamic and inspiring self-conducted string orchestra, known as the flagship performing entity of the Sphinx Organization, is dedicated to transforming lives through the power of diversity in the arts. Comprising some of the nation’s top young Black and Latinx professional musicians, Sphinx Virtuosi serves as a cultural and diversity ambassador across the United States and abroad.

The concert will take place at the Orchestral Music Venetian Theater at 4:00pm, with a special pre-concert conversation with members of Sphinx Virtuosi at 3:00pm. The program features music by some of today’s most compelling Black and Latinx composers, including Quenton Xavier Blache, Javier Favias, Andrea Casarrubios, Adolphus Hailstork, Jessie Montgomery, and Coleridge-Taylor Perkinson.

Seating options include general admission with premium reserved seating available, as well as Garden Listening tickets for a more casual concert environment. Garden Listening tickets are $20, free for Members and children under 18, allowing you to enjoy the concert broadcast with audio only on Friends Field.
