As he enters his third year as an Artist in Residence in the Cedar Rapids Community Schools, Dorian brings his rich experience from recent performances, including Teatro Nuovo’s production of "Crispino e la Comare" at Jazz at Lincoln Center. This special recital will showcase a diverse repertoire of arias and songs spanning from the Baroque era to the 21st century.

Accompanied by the fabulous Kim Wonkyung, Dorian McCall will enchant the audience with selections that include powerful pieces from Handel's "Messiah," the soul-stirring "Lord, I Just Can't Keep From Cryin'" by Bonds, the picturesque "He met her in the meadow" by Burleigh, the festive "White Christmas" by Irving Berlin, the profound "I'm Here" from "The Color Purple" by Russell, Willis, and Bray, and the majestic "Te Deum" from Puccini's "Tosca."
