She was an artist who revitalized her art form, brought new audiences to opera houses around the world, and left an indelible mark on the world. A strong-willed woman at a time that was cruel to such women, the charismatic diva was torn between her two greatest passions: opera and her love affair with the wealthy and powerful Aristotle Onassis, suffering in the throes of love, desire, conflict, and betrayal. Award-winning composer Clint Borzoni's lush and melodic music evokes the passion and drama of Maria Callas's legendary life and career.

Experience a hilarious night of mishaps and mayhem at the Elkader Opera House with "The Play That Goes Wrong." This uproarious production promises an evening filled with laughter as you witness a play within a play where everything that can go wrong, does. From missed cues to collapsing sets, the cast and crew of the Cornley Polytechnic Drama Society battle against all odds to make it through to their final curtain call.

**Auditions:**
- Dates: May 12th and May 13th at 6:00 PM
- Location: Enter through the side door off the parking lot up the steps
- Note: No experience necessary. Roles are comedic and open to ages 16 and up.

- **Jonathan Harris**: The self-assured actor playing Charles Haversham.
- **Robert Grove**: As Thomas Colleymoore, a blissfully bad actor.
- **Dennis Tyde**: The eager Perkins, looking for friendship.
- **Sandra Wilkinson**: The conceited Florence Colleymoore.
- **Max Bennett**: The naive dual-role player of Cecil Haversham and Arthur the Gardener.
- **Trevor Watson**: The focused lighting and sound operator.
- **Annie Twilloil**: The stage manager turned reluctant actress.
