Join Symphony Nova Scotia for a captivating and environmentally conscious musical experience with the FREE Family Series: It’s Easy to Be Green. This special event is set to take place on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at 4:00 pm at the Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 in Halifax, and continues on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Alderney Landing Theatre in Dartmouth.

Under the baton of Jennifer Tung, Symphony Nova Scotia will perform a selection of music inspired by the beauty of nature, celebrating Earth Day and emphasizing the importance of protecting, conserving, and restoring our environment. This event is not only a musical journey but also an educational opportunity to appreciate the significance of our natural surroundings.

The FREE Family Series: It’s Easy to Be Green is designed to be inclusive and welcoming to all, including children on the autism spectrum and their parents. The atmosphere is participatory, relaxed, and informal, encouraging children to be active and involved in the orchestral performance. Vocalizations, movements, and taking breaks are all embraced as part of the fun.
