Owls, a quartet collective originating from Brooklyn, features friends from the Marlboro Festival, including the talented violinist Alexi Kenney, violist Ayane Kozasa, cellist Gabriel Cabezas, and cellist-composer Paul Wiancko. Known for their innovative approach to music, Owls combines elements of a bass-forward string quartet with the energy of a downtown band, delivering performances that are both breathtaking and defy categorization.

The evening's program will showcase a mix of contemporary classics and original compositions, including Corea's "Children’s Song No. 12," Wiancko's "Vox Petra" and "When The Night," Ali-Zadeh's "Rəqs," Couperin's "Les Barricades Mystérieuses," Trollstilt's "Ricercar," and Riley's "Good Medicine." With a runtime of 2 hours, attendees are guaranteed a rich and diverse musical experience.
