Dive into the enchanting world of "The Little Mermaid" at Persephone Theatre, a spectacular journey under the sea that promises to captivate audiences of all ages. This splashy musical, based on the beloved Hans Christian Andersen story and the iconic Disney film, features the incredible music of Alan Menken. Audiences will be transported to a magical underwater kingdom where Ariel, the youngest and most rebellious daughter of King Triton, dreams of life on land. Falling in love with the human Prince Eric, Ariel makes a dangerous deal with the sea witch, Ursula, to become human for three days. But when plans go awry, she must rely on her colorful friends Flounder the fish, Scuttle the seagull, and Sebastian the crab to restore harmony under the sea.

The production, running from April 10 to May 5, 2024, spans 120 minutes with a 20-minute intermission, offering a perfect family outing. The talented cast includes Synthia Yusuf as Ariel, Caulin Moore as Eric, Kristel Harder as Ursula, and Robbie Towns as Triton, among others, under the direction of Heather Cant. With music direction and conducting by Steven Greenfield and choreography by Kelsey Stone, this musical is a testament to the creative brilliance behind Persephone Theatre's productions.
