The story unfolds on the Western Front during Christmas when a German soldier steps into No Man’s Land, singing "Silent Night," sparking an unprecedented moment of camaraderie among foes. The New Yorker has praised the production as "a heartbreaking tribute to the men who, in defiance of their commanders, affirmed their common humanity."

This long-awaited Sarasota debut of Peter Rothstein’s salute to the heroes of The Great War promises an unforgettable evening of theatrical storytelling. Tickets will be available for 2024/2025 subscribers, with single tickets going on sale to the public on September 9.
