Join us for an unforgettable evening of classical music as the Amarillo Symphony presents "Centuries of Musical Joy" on January 11, 2025, at the AmTech Career Academy. This special concert will showcase the talents of renowned artists including Annie Chalex Boyle on violin, Bill Takacs and David Lough on trumpets, Daniel Del Pino on piano, and David In-Jae Cho as the conductor, leading the Amarillo Virtuosi chamber orchestra.

The evening's repertoire will feature a selection of classical masterpieces, including George Fredric Handel's Concerto Grosso no. 1, op. 6 HWV 319, Francesco Manfredini's Concerto for 2 trumpets, Antonio Vivaldi's Concerto for two trumpets in C major, RV 537, Benjamin Britten's Simple Symphony, and Felix Mendelssohn's Double concerto for violin and piano. This concert will highlight the exceptional skills of our trumpeters, Bill Takacs and David Lough, with the double trumpet concertos of Manfredini and Vivaldi, and will also feature a thrilling performance of Mendelssohn's Double concerto by Annie Chalex Boyle and Daniel Del Pino.
