The Annual Christmas Concert at the Torp Theater, Central Connecticut State University, promises to be a delightful event filled with beautiful music and holiday cheer. The program includes a diverse selection of classical pieces, showcasing the talent of guest violinist Luca Rinaldi. Rinaldi, a renowned Italian violinist and winner of several prestigious competitions, will take center stage as the soloist for Antonio Vivaldi’s beloved masterpiece, The Four Seasons. His virtuosity and passion are sure to captivate the audience. The concert will also feature Stanislaw Moniuszko’s String Symphony, a homage to Polish national opera, and Grażyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for a String Orchestra, showcasing the composer’s unique style and musicality. In addition, the audience will be treated to arrangements of Polish and Italian carols, performed by the Moniuszko Choir and the string orchestra.
