The Claremont Trio, celebrated for their exuberant performances and fresh approach to chamber music, will present a program that includes the regal trios by Fanny Mendelssohn-Hensel and Kati Agocs, alongside Franz Schubert’s magisterial Trio No. 2. Mendelssohn-Hensel's masterful music, underappreciated in her own time, and Agocs' intensely romantic "Queen of Hearts," commissioned by the Claremont Trio, promise to deliver an unforgettable musical experience. The evening will conclude with Schubert's Trio No. 2, inspired by a Swedish folk song, showcasing the trio's exceptional talent and chemistry.
