Following this, the orchestra will delve into Tchaikovsky’s heart-on-sleeve Symphony No. 5, a work renowned for its emotional intensity and memorable melodies. Additionally, the concert will include "Knell" by Iranian composer Niloufar Nourbakhsh, a piece that offers a symbolic plea for peace, echoing back to the themes introduced by Akimenko's opening work.
