Eddie Palmieri, an NEA Jazz Master and 10-time GRAMMY winner, is celebrated for his profound impact on salsa and Latin jazz music. As a virtuoso pianist, bandleader, arranger, and composer, Palmieri skillfully blends the rich musical traditions of his Puerto Rican heritage with the intricate nuances of his jazz influences, including Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock, McCoy Tyner, and his brother, Charlie Palmieri. With his 13-piece Salsa Orchestra, Palmieri promises to deliver a performance that is both electrifying and deeply rooted in musical excellence.

This special event, co-presented by Harlem Stage and Bryant Park, will be held at the Bryant Park Bandstand, located at the west end of Bryant Park, W. 41st St. & 6th Ave. The lawn opens at 5PM, inviting guests to secure their spot for an evening of exhilarating music and dance. General admission is free, and lawn seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis.
