Despite forming during the socially-distanced summer of 2020, The Fountaineers have quickly made a name for themselves in Glasgow's vibrant traditional music scene. Their music is a celebration of classic bluegrass and American roots, featuring a blend of harmonious vocals and buoyant musical improvisation that is both traditional and creatively progressive.

The band consists of Callum Morton-Teng on mandolin, Jeri Foreman on fiddle, Michael Wright on guitar/vocals, and Rob Hart on banjo. Their performance is set to be a classic toe-tapping experience, drawing inspiration from American roots music from the Appalachian mountains and their musical heroes like Lester Flatt, Earl Scruggs, Tony Rice, and Allison Krauss and Union Station.

The concert will take place in the marquee at Paxton House, offering a splendid backdrop to the evening's entertainment.
