From November 9th to 11th, the Mozarteum Guitar Festival will take place at the Mozarteum University in Salzburg – three days dedicated to the classical guitar. The program includes an international guitar competition, master classes with renowned artists, a chamber music competition, Erasmus master classes, and an exhibition of guitar makers.

Gabriel Bianco shares his knowledge and experience with musicians from the RCM Strings Faculty.

Regarded as one of today’s finest classical guitarists, Gabriel Bianco has earned top prizes in many international competitions and performed in prestigious venues including the Herbst Theatre in San Francisco, the Central Conservatory in Beijing, the Yamaha Hall in Tokyo and the Lausanne Opera. Since 2012, he has been a founding member of Quatuor Eclisses, with whom he has recorded four albums, in addition to solo recordings with Naxos and Ad Vitam.

In the Bijlmer Klassiek concert series, music styles merge seamlessly and are mixed with other performing arts. In the series, members of the Concertgebouw Orchestra collaborate with dancers, actors, writers and musicians from all possible styles, genres and backgrounds.
